Dale is Founder of Island 20 Ventures, a strategy & advisory firm in data, analytics, technology, and data monetization. Dale has been a senior advisor to data industry product firms, investors and investment banks and a board member at Quandl (Alternative Data); Eagle Alpha (Alternative Data); JamLabs (Data Science); Datactics (Data Quality Analytics); TickTrade (eFX trading software), PathFactory (Marketing Content Management & Analysis). He has held senior operating roles with First Derivatives (President, North America); Reference Data Factory; LakeFront Data Ventures (CEO / Founder); SunGard (Chief Data Officer); EDM Council (Founder); FAME Information Services (President & CEO).

Mike Powell

Mike has a significant track record in business growth and innovation. With Thomson Reuters for 17 years, Mike held the role of Global MD Enterprise (now Refinitiv), where he was responsible for the business division encompassing open platform, real-time and historical data solutions, streaming analytics, and cloud based managed services. He is currently CEO at Rapid Addition, a leading provider of enterprise technology solutions for electronic trading in capital markets. Mike is highly experienced in building value enhancing partnerships with industry participants and technology partners in the global field of fintech and data.

Rich Newman

A highly respected and dynamic leader in the data technology arena, Rich established and led FactSet’s fast-growing Content and Technology Solutions (CTS) business unit, which provides off-platform financial data solutions and application technologies to investment professionals. While running CTS, Rich recognized the market opportunity inherent in cloud-based infinite processing and developed and drove FactSet’s entry into cloud-based solutions with Open: FactSet, moving the company into the burgeoning area of data science and alternative data. Before CTS, Rich pioneered and led FactSet’s high-growth Quantitative Investment Management group, creating desktop and off-platform products for quantitative users. Rich also founded Insyte, a leader in multi-dimensional and time series data solutions, which FactSet purchased in 2000.
