David Sharp
David has more than 25 years’ experience in the Australian data-driven marketing, credit and property decision science industries. He focuses on strategy development and execution. Before joining RoZetta Technology, David founded a specialist data analytics business, which was acquired by an entity that is now known as Equifax.
Simon Perry
Chief Technology Officer
Simon is a thoughtful leader with 30 years’ experience in strategic thinking and technology innovation. He develops inspiring strategies and builds high-performing teams to drive growth. His expertise spans product development, business strategy, and tech domains like software engineering, cloud infrastructure, data analytics, AI/ML, and security. Simon's dedication to user-centric design and customer focus delivered tangible results at Veda Advantage, Core Logic, and BlueStone Home Loans.
Peter Jones
Chief Product Officer
Peter has over 20 years of experience as a product leader defining and delivering cutting-edge data and analytics products within capital markets. London-based, he is responsible for optimizing customer relationships leveraging his expertise to create new opportunities and markets by developing RoZetta’s channel partner network. He previously held senior roles within banking and global data vendors including S&P and IDC (now ICE). He's motivated by unlocking value from data to drive innovation for clients.
Gary Mah
Chief Operating Officer
Gary has more than 20 years’ experience in finance, risk and operational roles in a variety of industries. He oversees policy establishment and the promotion of company culture and vision, as well as designing and implementing business operations. Before joining RoZetta Technology, Gary was the chief finance officer working within the Private Equity sector.
Paul Spence
Chief Data Scientist
Paul brings extensive experience in quantitative research, portfolio management, and advanced analytics. With a robust background in quantitative funds management, Paul has specialized in developing and implementing sophisticated quantitative models to optimize portfolio performance and manage risk effectively. In previous roles, Paul led initiatives to integrate data-driven strategies into investment processes, leveraging advanced statistical techniques and algorithms to enhance decision-making. Paul has a proven track record in designing innovative analytical solutions that drive significant value across various aspects of portfolio management functions. Paul held senior positions at Zurich Investment Management, Deutsche Asset Management, Sustainable Insight Capital Management, and most recently, at Mason Stevens.
Scott Matthews
Data Science Director
Scott has more than 24 years’ experience in analytics across property, insurance, marketing and market research. He leads the team that develops innovative analytical solutions across a diverse range of industries. Prior to joining RoZetta Technology, Scott was the head architect of analytics at CoreLogic Australia.
Suresh Dhanushkoti
Head of Product & Program Management
With over 30 years’ experience, Suresh brings expertise in delivering business and customer outcomes by leveraging his core skills in product and program leadership. His experience includes strategy development and execution, AI/ML, analytics-based product and program management, innovation scaleups, enterprise transformation and building high-performing teams in companies such as Citibank, Veda Advantage, CoreLogic and Quantium.

David has more than 20 years’ experience encompassing academia, telecommunications, IT, government research and start-ups, both in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining RoZetta Technology, David was the group CEO at RoZetta Institute (previously CMCRC / SIRCA.)
Dale Richards
Dale has more than 34 years’ experience in information, data analytics and technology innovation within the global capital markets segment. His market and client knowledge inform his advice to RoZetta Technology on strategy, product development and go to market planning. Dale also sits on the boards of TickTrade Systems, Eagle Alpha and JamLabs.
Elizabeth Pritchard
An innovative leader whose career has spanned investment banking, insurance and fintech. Elizabeth is currently CEO of Bitvore and White Rock Data Solutions LLC. Elizabeth has held leadership roles in Goldman Sachs including MD Global Market Data Services, the external data business for the bank, developed strategies to scale insights from data and created the plan for a central hub to access external data. In 2015, Elizabeth joined AIG as Chief Operating Officer, Science. Elizabeth COO at AIG and is founding executive at Crux Informatics.
Emmanuel Doe
A successful and respected senior executive, Emmanuel has over 20 years’ experience in designing and delivering SaaS, Big Data and Cloud technology solutions to capital markets. He has held senior executive roles in SyBase, IDC and Global Business Manager & SVP Thomson Reuters, in 2011 Emmanuel became President of Real Time Solutions for Interactive Data which was sold to ICE for $5.2b. Emmanuel is on the Board of Directors for Supply Chain Data company ACSIS and non-profit telemedicine organization Addis Clinic.
Mike Powell
Mike has a significant track record in business growth and innovation. With Thomson Reuters for 17 years, Mike held the role of Global MD Enterprise (now Refinitiv), where he was responsible for the business division encompassing open platform, real-time and historical data solutions, streaming analytics, and cloud based managed services. He is currently CEO at Rapid Addition, a leading provider of enterprise technology solutions for electronic trading in capital markets.
Richard Newman
A highly respected leader in data technology, Rich established FactSet’s Content and Technology Solutions (CTS), providing off-platform financial data solutions to investment professionals. While running CTS, Rich identified a market opportunity and developed FactSet’s entry into cloud-based solutions, moving the company into data science and alternative data. Before CTS, Rich led FactSet’s high-growth Quantitative Investment Management group.Rich also founded Insyte, a leader in multi-dimensional and time series data solutions, which FactSet purchased in 2000.
Prof. Massimo Piccardi
Massimo is a professor of machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He is a supervisor to 2 industrial PhD students at RoZetta Technology and is a regular contributor to discussions on client or industry solutions related to his field. At UTS, he serves as the leader for a research program in big data analytics in the Global Big Data Technologies Centre and as head of discipline for Signal Processing and Analytics.
History
RoZetta Technology exists to tackle real world problems. We believe we can do this through empowering organizations to find insight and realize the potential of data and have been doing so in this era of data science for more than 20 years.
Headquartered in Sydney the business was a member of the RoZetta Institute research group of companies dating back to 1996, focused on driving transformational research in Data Science through its industrial PhD programme. RoZetta Technology played a key role in building operational and commercial entities which resulted in the launch of several businesses and market solutions under the RoZetta Ventures holding company. Solutions include Thomson Reuters Tick History platform, servicing over 630 global banks and hedge funds, covering 450+ exchanges, ingesting more than 10 billion transactions daily. Others from the RoZetta Institute included the SMARTS trading surveillance solution servicing 160+ exchanges, regulators and thousands of brokers which was sold in 2010 to NASDAQ; and Lorica Health transaction monitoring platform identifying billions of dollars of fraud, waste and error.
Given the success and potential for RoZetta Technology to grow further, in November 2019, the company was launched from the Group as a separate entity with the financial support of external investors and management.
The name RoZetta Technology was inspired in a combination of the way the Rosetta Stone was able to deliver understanding and combined with a zettabyte unit measure of data. In 2015, we changed our name to RoZetta Technology to encapsulate the value we deliver: deriving insights from high-volume, high-velocity data to help companies innovate, grow and thrive.
