About us

Enterprise data platforms,
proven in financial services

RoZetta Technology turns the world’s most demanding financial data into trusted, market-ready products, giving exchanges, data providers and financial institutions one platform to manage, modernize and monetize their data assets.

Our roots go back to when a consortium of Australian and New Zealand universities founded SIRCA (now Rozetta Institute) to meet the coming explosion of digital data. That research heritage became RoZetta Technology, named for the insight of the Rosetta Stone, which made a lost language readable again, and the zettabyte, the scale of data we work at.

Along the way, we helped launch several specialist data science businesses and market solutions under the RoZetta Ventures holding company. We built and operated the Tick History platform for Thomson Reuters, serving more than 630 global banks and hedge funds, covering 450+ exchanges, ingesting more than 10 billion transactions a day, helping reshape trading and transparency across global capital markets. Other ventures included the SMARTS trading surveillance solution, later sold to NASDAQ; and the Lorica Health platform, which identified billions of dollars of fraud, waste, and error before it was sold to HMS.

Today, our AI-native DataHex platform helps financial institutions ingest, govern, enrich and analyze their data, build indices and benchmarks, and launch new data products faster. It deploys alongside the data clients already hold and scales as their requirements grow. Clients use it to launch data products, generate sharper signals and make better investment decisions.

In the AI era, competitive advantage belongs to firms whose data is trusted, governed and ready to use. RoZetta works closely with its clients to build exactly that foundation.

Our vision and mission

Our vision

We picture a global financial market where every dataset is discoverable, governed, and ready to use, by every person and every AI agent.

Our mission

To build AI-native platforms that help financial institutions, exchanges and data vendors manage and monetize their data assets, innovate with them, and turn them into intelligence and advantage.

We’ve been putting this vision into practice with our clients for more than two decades, and it still drives what we build today and where we’re heading.

Our values

Our values are carried by a team that shares them, and they form part of our company DNA. Each one builds toward the first, leading the future through innovation.
