A 1997 portal, no longer maintainable
SIRCA operated an on-premise data portal for its university clients focused on PhD-level capital markets research, offering downloads of Australian and New Zealand historical tick data, company announcements, and property data.
In production since 1997, the platform had become unmaintainable, and SIRCA wanted to expand its data offering and migrate to a modern cloud analytics solution.
Solution
A managed cloud analytics environment
RoZetta worked with SIRCA and Morningstar to expand the offering with new geographies and datasets, including company fundamentals, corporate actions, announcements, and expanded tick data.
The platform was deployed on a Databricks managed cloud environment on AWS, with normalization, conforming, and enrichment across the datasets.
